Today we have the pleasure to present to our readers the next release from Madrid-based label Serrano’s Kitchen. An EP with two of our MOAI PRO involved, one as author and one as remixer.
Gaia Freya, an EP featuring Armandd G and FRiGiD, leading exponents of the electronic scene in Central America, will be released on April 23rd. Armandd G is one of our MOAI PRO, Guatemalan, and FRiGiD comes from Costa Rica. Serrano’s Kitchen, true discoverers of talent in the area, has added these two producers to its list of artists.
The EP is full of house with different aromas and spices. Gaia in its original version enters Afro territory, as does one of its remixes, by the Guatemalan combo of Araguz and Tektonauts. On the other hand, the second remix of Gaia is produced by an Argentinian team (Joe Fisher and Ezequiel Marinoni, another of our MOAI PRO), with a twist closer to Melodic and Progressive.
The other track, Freya, is also a Melodic approach, hypnotic and suggestive, which receives two remix treatments, one by Tico Tepes, who wraps the original track in Techno with a slightly rougher character. The second remix softens the proposal somewhat with the Melodic but consistent varnish of Chez Ezze, another Guatemalan who we find on numerous occasions sharing the booth with Armand G.
