MOAI Platform welcomes Raúl Blázquez

Born on 3 December 1981 in Madrid.
Since he was a child he listened to all kinds of music and it was when he was 15 years old when he got to know electronic music, with tapes that he listened to on a Sony “walkman” recorded on radio3 and German stations that friends passed on to him.
That was his first contact with a mixing desk and turntables.
It was the vinyl era and from 1996 onwards, he experienced the irruption of “techno deejaying”.
the irruption of “techno detroit” in the Madrid scene, with dozens of clubs
clubs all over the capital.
At the age of 18 he was lucky enough to see artists such as Kevin Saunderson,
Kenny Larkyn, James Ruskin, Richie Hawtin, Surgeon or Óscar Mulero,
these were the ones who inspired him the most at that time.
SOMA, was the club that most influenced him, he had his golden age with
Elesbaan and Xpansul, it was a reference of the techno scene in Madrid.
Different later stages in which the “house”, “minimal” and other genres that were also present made him other genres that were also present made him broaden his
his perception of electronic music, improving his mixing technique in other styles.
styles.
In his sets he looks for order, not chaos, clean mixes, perhaps unexpected, to create that atmosphere that unexpected, to create that atmosphere that envelops the listener in a journey into the unknown.
journey into the unknown.
He currently lives in Mallorca, where he has launched new and exciting projects.
